Cancellation and Refund Policy

Purpose of this policy
The purpose of this Refund Policy is to set out the procedures which a student must follow.

  • A full course fees is required to pay in advance and before receiving Confirmation of Enrolment.
  • Prior to the census date, course fees already paid to the Academy will not be refunded.
  • No refund and adjustment is payable if the student withdraws after census date, cancel the course/Leave of Absence after commencement (including continuing students).
  • Extra service such as Airport pickup and Accommodation Arrangement has separate fees/charges, once the fees are paid to the Academy then it will not be refunded or adjusted with the other fees/students.
  • Students will not permitted to continue in their program/course because of a determination made by the Principal of Academy in any circumstances, course fees/ extra service fees/ accommodation fees will not be refunded or adjusted with the other fees/students.

Extra Charge: FRRO Fees, Accommodation Arrangement Fees, Airport Pickup Arrangement Fees and all other fees/services performed by the Academy’s staff and with the consent of the students.

POLICY CONTENT: International Student Contract between SEA and applicants / students regarding fees and refunds and Payment from an international applicant signifies their acceptance of the SEA’s Refund Policy and their acknowledgement that the policy will be reviewed and amended regularly.
Definitions

  1. In this Refund Policy and as the context permits,
    1. "you" or "your" means the Student and as the context permits includes the Student’s legal guardian.
    2. "Course" means a course of education in which you are enrolled in.
    3. "Course Start Date, Course Census Date" means the date the Course is scheduled to start at the time you submit your application to enroll in the Course. For clarity, course start date is mentioned clearly on the Offer of Admission and the Confirmation of Enrollment.
    4. "Package of Courses" means course fees plus other fees arranged and accepted by the student and the Academy at the time of application.
    5. "Services Fees" include, but are not limited to, accommodation arrangement fee, airport pick-up fee, accommodation booking fee, further studies placement fee, FRRO fees, Internet /sim card service fees and any other fee for services ordered by you which are not refundable.
    6. "Student Default" includes circumstances where: (i) you failed to pay an amount you are liable to pay to SEA, directly or indirectly, in order to undertake your Course; (ii) you breach a condition of your student visa; (iii) you have behaved in a manner which is inconsistent with the General Conditions of Enrolment or which amounts to misbehavior
    7. "Tuition Fee" means the price of tuition for a Course
    8. "Withdraw from the Course" includes circumstances where you cancel your enrolment in a Course

IMPORTANT
No refunds are possible unless SEA procedures are followed. SEA reserves the right to change its procedures without notice, according to its own requirements.
